"Are you passionate about preserving cultural heritage and exploring the unique stories of the Haenyeo communities in Jeju Island and second-generation Korean Canadians in Toronto? We need your help!

I am a graduate student from York University embarking on an exciting research project, and I am seeking Korean volunteers to participate in on-camera interviews. This research aims to shed light on the rich cultural tapestry of Haenyeo communities in Jeju Island and the experiences of second-generation Korean Canadians in Toronto.

 What is the project about? We are delving into the lives, traditions, and challenges faced by Haenyeo, the remarkable female divers of Jeju Island, known for their strength and resilience. Simultaneously, we are exploring the narratives of second-generation Korean Canadians, uncovering the intersection of tradition and modernity in their lives.
