2017년 5월에 캐나다 온타리오 주 한인 첫 주의원인 조성준 의원이 발의한 10월을 한국문화 유산의 달로 지정하자는 안건이 어제 2017년 12월 10월 12일 만장일치로 통과되었다.
조성준 의원은 “ 한인 최초이자 유일한 주의원으로서 이 법안이 통과되어 자랑스럽다”라고 말했다.
